4 Tips for a Sustainable Holiday Season
When the holiday season rolls around, we often feel the pressure to buy more. This year, we challenge you to see where you can reduce, reuse, and recycle. We all know the best gifts come from the heart!
Keep scrolling to find simple hacks that will make your holiday season more sustainable. ♻️
Decorate a Living Tree
Give yourself the gift that keeps on giving! Instead of purchasing an artificial Christmas tree or cutting down a healthy, living tree, consider decorating a tree in your yard. Live in the city or no suitable trees on your property? No worries! One of our favorite trends this year is purchasing a potted house plant or tree that you can keep even after the holiday lights come down.

DIY Dog Treats for the Win
Give your dog a special holiday treat this season by turning our Triumph Jerky Bites into a fun, frozen snack.🧊
Here's how:
Grab your Triumph Jerky Bites bin or purchase a new one.
Partially fill your empty container with chicken broth or water and a few Triumph Jerky Bites.
Put your Triumph Jerky Bites bin into the freezer.
Remove the container, and serve the frozen pupsicle! 🐾
Wrap with Recycled and Natural Materials!
What do you already have around the house (or in the yard) that could be repurposed into decorating material? Wrapping is one of the biggest sources of waste during the holiday season. Before we know it, the pretty papers, boxes, and bows are tossed aside as interest shifts to what’s inside.
Who knows, maybe you’ll even impress your family and friends with your new, creative skills and encourage someone else to think more sustainably, too! ♻️
Here are a few of our favorite go-to sustainable wrapping supplies:
🎁 Paper bags
🎁 Cloth napkins
🎁 Regifted gift bags
🎁 Preloved twine, string, and ribbons
🎁 Ferns
🎁 Pine cones

Make Your Presents!
We all have that one shirt, right? The one that lives at the bottom of the pile and never sees the light of day. Time to repurpose the shirt you know you’ll never wear again into a toy your dog will love! 👚🐕🦺
Here's how to do it:
Grab a shirt you no longer wear and pick out a water bottle from your recycling bin.
Remove the cap and plastic ring from your water bottle.
Cut enough material from your shirt to wrap around the water bottle. Tip - Long sleeve shirts work great! Cut off the entire sleeve and put the bottle inside.
Cut two strips of material from your shirt to tie off each end of the new toy.
Gift it to your dog. They’ll enjoy it just as much as a brand new toy! 🐾
